JOB VACANCY WITHIN THE ST HELENA AIRPORT

The St Helena Airport is looking to recruit a General Assistant.

• To undertake cleaning throughout St Helena Airport Ltd facilities to the highest possible standard.

Applicants must be of a professional manner and be able to provide the following:

• A satisfactory Criminal History Records Check (note: there are several disqualifying offences that do not permit the issuance of an unescorted ID permit) satisfactory criminal record and work history checks.
• A satisfactory five-year employment / education/ training verification check.
• Satisfactory identification verification documentation
• A clean and valid St Helena Driver’s license Class C and above
• Be prepared to work outside, in all weather conditions and able to complete extended shift work where required.
• Be physically fit and able to work at ladder height.
• To demonstrate commitment to the Company’s compliance responsibilities
• To always display a professional image.

Salary for this post is starting from £6,911.38 per annum plus transport allowance of £1,020 per annum and a 12.5% pension contribution.
