On 12 June 2023 St Helena Airport received a B733 cargo plane operated by African Charter
Airline. The B733 flew in carrying an important part for the vessel BBC Emsland anchored in James Bay. The vessel arrived at the island a few days before with mechanic issues. The flight was chartered in to deliver the part required to get the vessel on its way. This was another successful event for SHAL!
